1- Buy your PPMKIOSK Box in your desired language

2- Follow the instructions in the welcome letter that you will find in the PPMKIOSK Box.

(Update Kioskgift software to v3.6.0 or higher)

Inside you will find all the required material to update your Kioskgift software.

You can follow this video that will guide you on how to update Kioskgift version.

End Of Life of Instagram in Kiosk

Dear all,

The connection to the Instagram platform will stop working in Kiosk and Click systems from early 2020. This is due to changes in the Instagram business model in relation to integration by third parties.
Instagram and other Social Networks as source of images for printing photos in Kiosk and Click are rarely used by customers (less than 1%).
Consequently, Social Networks will be removed as sources in upcoming versions of Click and Kiosk.
We recommend Kiosk owners to disable Social Networks sources from settings Menu:

Facebook on PSEvents and Kiosk versions below v2.8.5

In August 2018, Facebook terminated the support to the API used in PSEvents software and Kiosk software versions previous to v2.8.5.
For Kiosk’s customers whose wish to continue using Facebook download capability, please instruct them to update to the latest available version.
Regarding PSEvents software, we do not plan to release a new version.

The Kiosk doesn’t resume automatically the printing order after consumable replacement.

A printing order can be paused before it finishes due to these two main reasons related to consumable:

  • The consumable ribbon arrives to the end. In that case, the printing order will be automatically resumed after replace ribbon and paper roll. Remember that it is very important replace at the same time both, ribbon and paper although there still remains some paper on the roll, to avoid printer malfunction, paper jam, ribbon break downs, printer alarms, …
  • The consumable paper roll arrives the end. If this situation happens is because a not proper consumable replacement  or an abnormal printer operation. Then, the kiosk will pause the printing order due to the alarm send by the printer. In that situation, the kiosk operator has to replace both consumable ribbon and paper and resume manually the printing order from the kiosk dispatcher.
